Assassin’s Creed Shadows, set to release in November 2024, is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed and published by Ubisoft Quebec. The game is the fourteenth main game in the Assassin’s Creed series, following Assassin’s Creed Mirage from 2023, and is also the initial title to be part of the Assassin’s Creed: Infinity platform. Taking place in Japan during the 16th century at the end of the Sengoku period, the story will center on the ongoing conflict between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order. The game will be told through the eyes of two main characters: Naoe, a female shinobi, and Yasuke, an African samurai inspired by the real historical figure.
